Introducing the Together in Motherhood Group Wellness Program.

In a world where wellness often feels overwhelming and unattainable, the Together in Motherhood 8-week program is designed to help you break free from autopilot and consciously prioritize your well-being. Centered around our five pillars of wellness—EAT, SLEEP, MOVE, FEEL, BE—this program equips you with practical, actionable tools to simplify self-care and fit it into your life as a mom.

We’ll guide you through everything from nourishing your body and your family to embracing your changing identity in motherhood. You’ll explore body image, learn to navigate evolving relationship dynamics, and discover tools for communicating your needs more effectively. Together, we’ll tackle nervous system regulation, sleep hygiene, and introduce approachable ways to bring movement into your daily routine.

With a focus on self-compassion and letting go of perfectionism, this program empowers you to embrace good-enough mothering while feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. Join us and rediscover what it means to thrive in motherhood, with realistic, science-backed solutions that fit into your busy life.

What is Postpartum Depletion?

The consequences of the physical, biological, and psychological toll pregnancy, labor, and postpartum take on the body.

Our bodies go through a tremendous transformation during pregnancy. Your estrogen and progesterone go from an all-time high to plummeting within hours after birth. It may take 6 months or more, especially if breastfeeding, to return to pre-pregnancy levels. In addition, our bodies spend almost 10 months growing a human, then birthing and producing milk, all of which require a high amount of micro and macronutrients. After birth, if we don’t properly nourish our bodies, we will become even more depleted, especially when you consider the consequences of sleep deprivation and the stresses of parenthood.

From thyroid issues to brain fog, fatigue, hair loss, weight changes, and mood disorders, until we take the time to assess and replete our bodies, both physically and mentally, we will always be fighting an uphill battle to feel good.

You don’t have to feel unwell in motherhood!

The 5 Pillars of Maternal Wellness

Using my 5 Pillar method, we’ll take a comprehensive and holistic view of your life to ensure we are addressing all the elements that contribute to true health and wellness.

Sleep.

We all know the value of a good night’s sleep. But we also know how little of it parents get. We will focus on improving your sleep hygiene to ensure you get the rest you need.

MOVE.

The benefits of exercise are abundant. Fitting it in can be tough. We’ll explore how to incorporate movement into your routine and help you find a routine that brings joy to your life, not stress.

BE.

Our bodies undergo tremendous physiological changes during pregnancy and postpartum. We will explore the diagnostic testing that can help identify potential pathology contributing to you feeling unwell. Because being a mom is not a diagnosis.

Food is medicine, and what you put into your body can impact how you feel, your fertility, your pregnancy, and your postpartum recovery. Food is also one of life’s greatest pleasures, so we will work on nourishing your body and family in an obtainable way while facilitating a healthy relationship with food.

EAT.

FEEL.

We will optimize mental and emotional health by addressing stress management and focusing on strengthening your relationship with yourself and others. We’ll address shifts in identity when becoming a mom, body image, and finding ways to ensure your needs are met.

Hi Mama!

I’m Dr. Sara Bloom

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!
As both a physician and a mother of three, I understand the incredible journey of motherhood—its joys, its transformations, and the profound challenges it brings. It’s a time filled with love, growth, and discovery, but also a time where support can feel distant and, too often, mothers are left to navigate it alone.

After the six-week postpartum check-up, many moms find themselves in a “no man’s land”, where the physical, emotional, and hormonal changes continue, but the support fades. This period, especially in the first year, is one of great transition, and you deserve to have your experiences seen, your symptoms acknowledged, and your well-being truly cared for.

Instead of facing this journey alone, I invite you to join me and a community of fellow moms. Together, we’ll share, learn, and support each other every step of the way.

I look forward to connecting with you,
Dr. B
